Abstract The waters of the Haruku Strait are one in Maluku Province highly used, both on coast and sea. This allows waste ingress into waters, this results pollution which causes declining water quality. An indicator aquatic environment quality is presence dissolved oxygen. Oxygen solubility also influenced by character mass. purpose study was to examine Strait, especially DO, BOD pH, turbidity brightness. research carried out July-September 2021. method used situ measurement parameter values taking samples using Niskin bottles. Furthermore, concentrations DO were measured a meter Instrument (Hanna Instrument) pH meter. data then analyzed with help Surfer 12 software Microsoft Excel, displayed form horizontal distribution map vertical graph. showed that concentration oxygen (DO) ranged from 5.76-8.82 mg/L, while 5.22-10.43 mg/L value 7.0-8.5, brightness 5.5-13.5 m, 0.35-1.75 FTU. classified as good health based parameters can be categorized clean when referred standards for ports, marine tourism life.
